Ambleside
accommodation in the Lake District
|
Ambleside
is situated close to Windermere and is always busy with
tourists. With it's quaint cafes, ten pubs, cosy gift shops
and beautiful scenery, Ambleside is a place you must see
if you are visiting the Lakes. The town is famous for the
Bridge House and Beatrix Potter. It's
home to many students, training to be teachers at St Martin's
college (formerly Charlotte Mason), so it's certainly lively
at night with something for everyone - fish'n'chips or a
restaurant meal, a traditional English pub or modern trendy
bar, a small cinema and even a basement club at 'Sportys'. |
